The Big Sky Conference has announced the members of the 2013 Fall All-Academic teams for football, volleyball, soccer and men's and women's cross country. Portland State Athetics can boast 44 honorees among those sports. The PSU women's soccer and volleyball teams also won Big Sky Conference regular season championships to go along with a high percentage of players earning academic honors. The Viking football team had 14 student-athletes earn Academic All-Big Sky - the most ever in 18 seasons as a league member.
